This "skeletonized" kiridashi is the newest additional to our little shop. It is lightweight, rugged and exceptionally handy.
Specs: It measures approximately 14cm from tip to tail, with a cutting edge that is 6cm long and a 3mm spine thickness
It is crafted from 1095 high carbon steel, a blade steel known for its edge retention and toughness. This steel is not stainless so please follow the care instructions included with your knife.
We base almost all of our pocket knife designs on the traditional Japanese kiridashi form because it is ideally suited to almost any daily task. The flat pointed blade profile makes it ideal for detail work and slicing and the ergonomic handle means its very comfortable in hand despite not having wood scales. This keeps it slim and compact.
